Ingredients 

  • Two onions, cut into wings. 
  • Two tablespoons of butter. 
  • Half a tablespoon of flour.

  • Mozzarella Cheese. 
  • Two cups of chicken broth or meat broth. 
  • Pinch of black pepper. 
  • Half a tablespoon of salt. 

How to prepare 

  • Melt the butter in a saucepan over the fire, then add the onions and stir until tender and wither goldenly. 
  • Add the flour to the onions and stir the mixture well, then add the chicken broth or meat, and you can use a cube of chicken broth. 
  • Add salt and black pepper and stir the mixture, then let it boil for a quarter of an hour. 
  • Spread the mozzarella cheese on toast pieces and put it in the oven until the cheese does not need more than two minutes. 
  • Take out the toast pieces and place them on top of the soup.

French onion soup with olive oil 


Ingredients 

  • Three onions. 
  • A quantity of olive oil for frying onions. 
  • Sprinkle with sugar. 
  • One clove of garlic. 
  • Four cups of chicken or meat broth. 
  • Bay leaf. 
  • A teaspoon of dry thyme. 
  • Pinch of black pepper. 
  • An adequate amount of salt. 
  • Slices of toast. 
  • A bunch of mozzarella cheese.

How to prepare
