How to make ice cream [homemade]

Ice cream or gelato is known as a frozen dessert prepared using milk, water, sugar, and some flavours, such as fruits, cocoa, lemon, orange, or vanilla. The story of ice cream started a long time ago, as the Romans and Persians used it in 400 BC. The Chinese mixed milk is frozen with rice in 200 BC, while Italy's rich people added to milk on ice to produce ice cream in a year, and the mixture of ice cream moved from Italy to France, for French chefs to create savoury foods.


Make Strawberry Ice Cream


Ingredients 


  • Three-quarters of a cup of strawberries, sliced. 
  • A cup of liquid cream. 
  • A cup of yoghurt. 
  • A quarter cup of caster sugar. 


How to prepare 


  • We put strawberries, liquid cream, and yoghurt with sugar in a bowl of the food processor, beating the mixture on medium speed until doubling the volume of the cream and obtaining a homogeneous mixture and brittle texture. 
  • Pour the strawberry mixture in a bowl with a lid, then put it in the freezer for a minimum of six hours. 

We can choose which fruit we prefer instead of strawberries in the same amount, such as banana, pineapple, apricot, blueberry, manga, and melons.



Make Chocolate Ice Cream


Ingredients 


  • One and a half cup of cream. 
  • And a half cup of milk, full fat. 
  • Half a cup of cocoa. 
  • A cup of chocolate crushed 
  • Yolk four eggs. 
  • Three-quarters of a cup of sugar. 
  • A teaspoon of vanilla. 


How to prepare 


  • We put the cream milk in a saucepan over the heat and stir them until thawing and homogenizing. 
  • Remove the pan from the heat, add the cocoa, then crushed chocolate and turn the ingredients. 
  • Whisk the egg yolk in a bowl, then gradually add the sugar and whisk again. 
  • Bring the chocolate mixture back to the heat and add the egg mixture, stirring using a large wooden spoon. 
  • Keep stirring until the mixture becomes thick and remove from heat. 
  • Add the vanilla extract, then put the mixture on a cold water bath until it cools to room temperature for twenty minutes. 
  • We put ice cream in a bowl with a lid in the freezer for not less than six hours.
